When Tanya* came to us, her family was concerned because of her depression. They weren’t sure what to do or how they could help her — so they hired us to provide Tanya with companionship.

“We are so pleased with Tanya’s new companion — I was thrilled to see how kind and caring her caregiver is! Tanya has really taken to her,” says Tanya’s niece.

In fact, Tanya’s caregiver was able to coax her to eat, which was the first time she’d willingly accepted food in over a week.

Others around Tanya noticed that her mental state was improving considerably: having a caregiver she liked and trusted really helped boost her spirits.

“We are extremely pleased with the care that Comforts of Home – Care has provided us,” Tanya’s niece said. “It’s making Tanya very comfortable!”

Tanya passed away quietly one month after we met her, and her family were so grateful to have caring companionship in her last days to put her mind at ease, brighten her spirits, and make the most of every moment.
